For sale is my Audi 80 B3 1.8 S with 90 hp from 1989. I took the car firsthand from an older lady about six years ago. She bought the car in 1989 and then drove it for about 32 years. Only when she didn't want to drive at high age did I take over the Audi. Since then, I have invested a lot in the car myself and renewed many technical things. Among other things, suspensions, shock absorbers, springs, dome bearings, transverse/triangle links, coupling rods, stabilizer bearings and the rear axle bushings were renewed. In addition, gasoline filters and several gasoline lines were renewed, toothed belts including water pump and V-belts were made and various parts of the exhaust system were renewed. The trouser tube and the tail silencer were only recently renewed, using original parts. The transmission was also exchanged for a general overhauled transmission. In this course, the clutch was also renewed. The original 1.8-S motor with 90 hp and KE-Jetronic runs very nicely, starts without problems and the car drives and pulls very well.

Currently known works/models: The cylinder head seal is unfortunately defective and must be renewed. The engine starts, runs and the car is ready to move, but currently uses water significantly due to the defective cylinder head seal. In this course, I would also renew the valve cover seal or the valve cover. The old sheet metal cover is probably now somewhat covered and sweats again easily despite the already renewed seal.

The driver's door has a dent. It has been folded forward in an unfortunate misfortune in the opened state and has pressed in the direction of the fender. The door can be repaired or exchanged for a good used door.

The sleeper on the driver side is also slightly pressed in on the underside. This happened at an old-timer meeting on a stubble field when I missed a pronounced trek track when I left the terrain slowly. The damage is manageable and can easily be repaired for someone with body experience.

At the lower edge of the damaged driver's door begins some corrosion. Since the door is damaged anyway, an exchange would be offered. Otherwise, the body for the age is in a very good and especially stainless condition.

Due to the upcoming work, the Audi is not a finished vintage car, but rather a nice project for someone who can screw himself or wants to bring an Audi 80 B3 back to the street. For this he has got a great history, a very good basis and a lot of new in recent years. It's important to me to describe the state honestly and not to be beautiful. If you are looking for a perfect Audi 80 with a few kilometers and a new TÜV, you will not find it. However, if you are looking for an honest, original Audi 80 B3 with beautiful history and already extensively overhauled technology and can do the last works yourself, you get a nice base here.
