Data Audi A3 40 TFSI eData Audi A3 40 TFSI e Year of construction/first registration May 2022 Engine 1.4 TFSI, 4-cylinder petrol Gasoline engine 150 hp / 110 kW Electric motor up to 80 kW System output 204 hp / 150 kW System torque 350 Nm Front-wheel drive 6-speed S tronic automatic transmission Lithium-ion battery, 13.0 kWh gross / 10.4 kWh net Tank 40 liters Mileage of 99,000 km Maximum speed 227 km/h Maximum electric speed 140 km/h 0100 km/h 7.6 seconds Trunk about 280 liters, max. about 1,100 liters Seats 5 Emission standard Euro 6d-ISC-FCM Year of construction/first registration May 2022 Engine 1.4 TFSI, 4-cylinder petrol Gasoline engine 150 hp / 110 kW Electric motor up to 80 kW System output 204 hp / 150 kW System torque 350 Nm Front-wheel drive 6-speed S tronic automatic transmission Lithium-ion battery, 13.0 kWh gross / 10.4 kWh net Tank 40 liters Mileage of 99,000 km Maximum speed 227 km/h Maximum electric speed 140 km/h 0100 km/h 7.6 seconds Trunk about 280 liters, max. about 1,100 liters Seats 5 Emission standard Euro 6d-ISC-FCM
Gasoline combined: about 1,41,5 l/100 km * Electricity: approximately 13,013,8 kWh/100 km * CO: approximately 3034 g/km * Electric range according to WLTP: approximately 5967 km, depending on equipment/wheels.
The 1.4 l/100 km should not be understood as normal consumption. This value assumes that the battery is charged regularly and that part of the test track is driven electrically.
If the battery is empty, the fuel consumption is significantly higher. For example, Audi later gives approx. 5,96,6 l/100 km with the battery discharged.
In practice, I would do something like this:
* Battery full / short distance: partly 0 l gasoline * City with charged battery: very little gasoline * Country road with empty battery: approximately 56 l/100 km * Highway 120130 km/h: approximately 67.5 l/100 km * fast motorway ride: also 810+ l/100 km possible
Electrical range
The battery has net about 10.4 kWh. Audi calls for this model about 5967 km WLTP electric.
Realistically, I would rather use a used vehicle with approximately:
3555 km electric,
depending on temperature, speed, heating/air conditioning, tyres and battery condition.
This is particularly interesting for a car with 99,000 km: The battery condition (SOH) should be checked before buying.
Loading
The 2022 40 TFSI e is significantly different from today’s A3 TFSI e:
* maximum charging power: 2.9 kW * Full charging at suitable outlet: approximately 4.5 hours * no modern DC fast charging as in the current A3 plug-in hybrids.
What would interest me about this particular car
At 99,000 km and first registration 05/2022 I would check these points in particular before buying:
1. Battery SOH / battery state 2. S-tronic transmission and maintenance certificates 3. Service history 4. Brakes and tyres 5. Freedom from accidents 6. Number of previous owners 7. Charging function and charging cable 8. actual electric range 9. HU report Whether the 30,000-km/2-year maintenance has been adhered to Audi calls for this model 30,000 km or more. 2 years, whichever comes first.
If you also send me the price and the link / the remaining pictures of the ad, I can calculate the complete equipment, the realistic consumption, possible weak points at 99,000 km and the expected costs per month / year.
