Audi TT 8N9 Roadster Quattro 1.8T APX 225 hp, 6-speed 06/2000, 209,000 km, service history. Imported to Bulgaria from Germany in 2018, it has been driven less than 25,000 km since then. It has been in our possession since 2024. An exceptionally rare and fresh example, representing one of the most desired combinations for a first-generation TT, and likely has no equivalent in the country: • Factory Desert Green color, paint condition 8/10 (there are minor, almost unnoticeable imperfections on 3 panels, but it still looks great and is a big eye-catcher), no accidents, no rust, all factory stickers are in place; • Mokassin interior with the so-called "Baseball Glove" seats – professionally reupholstered with high-quality materials in a 1:1 match with the original pattern (the factory leather had cracks and could not be restored, although it looked decent, I still have the photos – the steering wheel and door cards have not been touched as they didn't need it); Factory hardtop in the original color of the car with a black headliner; the locking key and both mechanism trim strips are present and intact; • Quattro with an APX engine, 6-speed transmission, and 225 hp; • Bose sound system with the original Audi Concert head unit, CD changer, and a Bluetooth module that I added; • Electric soft top (the soft top is in perfect condition and is the car's original; it doesn't leak and the rear glass has been resealed as a preventative measure); • Factory tonneau cover (the leather cover used when the soft top is folded down, in top condition); • Xenon headlights (it currently has nice Taiwanese projector headlights with LED DRLs and bulbs from Farove Life, but the original headlights are included, intact, and working—they just need to be refurbished, though it lights up the road great with the current ones). The car comes with all available options for its model. The service logbook is present, as well as both original keys, plus one new uncut key. Upon purchase, it was fully serviced: timing kit, serpentine belt with pulleys, water pump, thermostat, all filters, engine oil, coolant, ignition coils, spark plugs, both temperature sensors, one cooling fan, battery, brake discs, pads, brake fluid, ABS sensors, and other minor bits. fine, the blow-off valve, front shock absorbers, and springs were replaced with all related consumables, control arms, and everything on the suspension that was needed, followed by a four-wheel alignment; 12/20mm wheel spacers were added. The wheels are period-correct RH Phoenix 8.5x18, in very good original condition—long sought after by me because I think they look great on the car. The tires are summer ones, fitted brand new last spring, 235/40—intentionally taller than the factory size due to our "great" roads. The belt for the glass wind deflector was thus replaced with a PolyBelt one, buying from the USA. A spare wheel kit with all balancing tools is present. The floor mats were custom-made for the car from EVA material; I still have the original carpet ones. A discreet dashcam has been added. Along with the cabriolet, the sale includes the hardtop, the original xenon headlights, and another set of 18-inch AEZ Bimo wheels with winter tires that have around 6,000–7,000 km on them (the car was buying with these wheels). I am also including a set of AP rear springs and most of the previously replaced parts. The car has been coddled like a child, and the total investment is far above the asking price, but joy has no price tag, and life is short. Within a single day, it can be restored to 100% original condition by reinstalling the original headlights and removing a few stickers and badges. I have changed the oil twice during the time we’ve owned it. It doesn’t burn a single drop of oil. Technically, it is in factory condition (including the catalytic converter) and in shape, with no need for any immediate repairs. It is completely ready for road trips wherever you want—which is exactly what it is used for. Most of the mileage comes from trips to Istanbul and a road trip through the Carpathians. It is an absolute joy to drive this Quattro Roadster through the hairpin turns of the Transalpina or any other fun road. It is being sold because it is fourth our vehicle, I am starting another project, and it is time for a change and some garage space is needed. These cars have quietly turned into future, or even current, classics—the TT was introduced a whopping 31 years ago, and I've wanted one pretty much since then. Rare examples like this will only increase in value, and similar ones cost significantly more than my request price. Unfortunately, most of them have been beaten to death by hard driving, tuning, and neglect, and most don't stand out with anything special, unlike this one.
