2004 BMW 118i - Top Zustand - Motorprobleme - TEXT LESEN

The car is in a very nice condition. A number of new parts such as the entire brake rear, new drive shafts, discs and fittings in front of new quality, regular service, climate runs without problems, motor and transmission dry after changing from all seals and and... Now to the engine problem: the car burns oil. Water cycle closed, so no head damage. Possible cause could have been the crankcase ventilation. However, this was renewed today together with a motor flushing system. The car is running normally. If it leaves for a longer period of time, it collects oil somewhere on the piston, which then burns when gas is poured. Accordingly, it would have to be the piston rings or valve shaft seals. A repair is finaciously uninteresting to me because I cannot do this myself - something for a hobby screwdriver! Watching is definitely worth talking to me. Without engine problems I see the car at realistic 3800,- €. The repair would cost me about good 1000,-€ which I now go down here + 300,-€ bonus from the price
