BMW E87 118i good equipment many repairs already made
For sale is my BMW E87 118i, built in 2005, in dark grey.
For his age, the BMW has really good equipment and was regularly maintained.
Equipment:
* Comfort access / Keyless Go * Seat heating * electric exterior mirror * Air conditioning * front and rear parking sensors * Multifunction steering wheel * u.v.m.
The last great service was carried out in February 2025.
In recent months, the following parts have been renewed:
* Control chain * Airbag within a BMW recall action * Spring winding cassette * Control center steering column * Wheel bearing front left and right * Oil filter housing sealed * Lighting machine * VANOS solenoid valves
Except for the VANOS solenoid valves, only original BMW parts were used.
Current status / Deficiencies:
Recently, the engine control lamp has started. An error in the area of VANOS was detected during readout (input/output). The vehicle currently shows shaving and a power loss. The VANOS solenoid valves were then renewed, which unfortunately did not solve the problem. The exact cause is not yet resolved.
Up to the occurrence of this problem, the engine ran reliably.
Optically, the BMW has age-related signs of use. There is also a dent in the rear right of the fender, as seen in the picture.
Wheels:
Currently the BMW stands on 17-inch winter wheels. The rims have some traces of use/cracks.
In addition, the original 16-inch BMW rims are available. The tyres mounted on them are no longer suitable for road transport from 2016 and due to their age. The 16-inch wheel set can be delivered on request.
I would like to specifically sell the vehicle as a craft vehicle or in need of repair due to the current VANOS/motor problem.
Due to the repairs already carried out in the last few months and the good equipment, the BMW is certainly interesting for someone who can repair it himself or has the possibility to repair the error favorably.
