2006 BMW 120d E87 M47

Sell my car due to a new acquisition.

The vehicle is very reliable and economical in consumption (approx. 4.8 l/100 km). It was mainly moved on long distances between Munich and Ingolstadt and never abandoned me.

The proven BMW M47 diesel engine is built, which is known for its longevity and reliability. Unlike the later N47 engines, the M47 is not known for control chain problems.

At 265,000 km, the clutch and the two-mass flywheel (ZMS) were renewed.

The oil change was carried out regularly every 15,000 km, although the manufacturer recommended an interval of 30,000 km. The engine does not consume oil, is dry and has no leaks. The gear also works perfectly.

The following work has been carried out in recent months:

* At 301,000 km: * New water pump including housing and thermostat * New Hankook tyres including axle measurement * Renewed rear transverse joints * At 304,000 km: * Complete front and rear brake set renewed * At 314,000 km: * Shock absorbers and springs on the front axle renewed * At 318.000 km: * Oil change carried out * Air conditioning checked

The vehicle is equipped with original BMW M rims and all-weather tires.

It runs quiet, economical and reliable and is ideal for everyday or commuter vehicles. Thanks to the extensive maintenance and the robust M47 engine, many easy kilometers are still possible.
