1988 BMW E30 Cabrio 320i 328i m52b28-Umbau

The car has been in my possession for over 13 years. In 2015, I carried out the engine conversion, which was accepted by TÜV and entered in the vehicle documents, as well as the lowering. The wheel-tyre station wagons and track plates are removed (protocol available), but not entered (penned). This was never a problem at HU. The drive train incl. cardan shaft comes from an e36 328i Limo Bj1995 with then about 240000km (today 270000). The differential is a 3.63 (166) from an e36 Compact 318ti. So it is translated quite briefly and accelerates rather neatly. The engine is the first generation of the m52 with the valve hood and the aluminium oil filter housing cover. The 24-valve with 2.8 litre displacement and 193 hp runs perfectly as expected. No increased oil consumption or background noise. Oil pan, screen snorkel and oil stick come classically from an E34. The exhaust system has been completely taken over by the dispenser vehicle and only slightly modified for installation. The steering was also borrowed from the e36 because it works much more directly. It has installed visco- and e-fans as well as an e28 diesel cooler and therefore has no cooling problems at high summer temperatures and under load. Depending on the driving style, the consumption is between 7.5 and 10 litres and thus far below that of the m20, m30 and m50 (without vanos). In my opinion, this conversion is the most sensible measure to optimize the performance data and efficiency in the e30. Personally, I have always been extremely satisfied. If there is a serious intention to buy, the vehicle can be tested and examined here on the lifting platform. It has currently passed the main and exhaust gas investigation without defects and is therefore immediately approved and ready for use.
