1998 BMW 318i E36 Cabrio von 1998 Original 2. Hand

For sale is my BMW 318i E36 convertible, built in 1998, with currently approx. 188.000 km. The mileage can still rise slightly as I move the car occasionally.

The convertible has been in my possession for about eight years and was actually my first own car I got at 17. There is also a lot of personal memories. I am the second holder and have always maintained the BMW over the years and consciously received it in the original state. He is now sold because I want to switch to a larger vehicle. It is expressly not an emergency sale.

In my possession, the car was driven only relatively little, averaged at most about 5000 km per year. Over the past few years he was always dry and underthinking in Cologne.

Technically, the car was regularly looked after. I carried out an oil change every 10,000 km according to the manufacturer's specifications. Necessary repairs were not postponed. A well-known problem site on the right sill was welded and repaired about two years ago.

The convertible top was also completely new and technically revised. It works electrically with a supporting handle and the top itself is in good condition and without cracks.

Due to corrosion, the exhaust was also replaced by a component corresponding to the original.

For the sake of completeness, I would also like to openly state the history: The BMW had a smaller start-up accident in the rear area. The damage was subsequently repaired professionally and the original condition restored. It is important to me not to conceal such things in an almost 30-year-old vehicle.

The 318i continues to travel beautifully and pleasantly splashy for its motorization. For me he was also a great beginner car. Ucomplicated and at the same time a car where you can enjoy even after many years.

Of course, the BMW from 1998 ran around 188,000 km. If you expect a new car, you will find traces of use due to age and running performance. I'd rather describe him honestly than better than he is. For this, one gets an E36 that was with me for many years, was regularly maintained and was not made up.

I would be happy if the convertible goes to someone who appreciates the original character of the E36 and continues to treat it accordingly.
