2017 BMW X3 35d F25 II

I sell this X3 from February 2017 as I get a new car.

I bought this vehicle 2021 in Germany with 100,000 km. It came from the first hand and belonged to a sales representative who drove exclusively on the highway. Since then I have travelled 100,000 km, mainly on the highway.

The gear oil was changed a year ago. The shaft seals were exchanged. (Works were carried out at BM68 in Alsace) Brake pads and tyres (winter tires) are in good condition. Oil change was usually carried out every 15,000 km.

This vehicle would have a value of about 16,00017,000 on the private market. However, since the end of 2024 the message power loss motor/front axle appears on the on-board computer. Sometimes nothing for months, sometimes once a week. In total, I have lost 56 times in actual performance within one year. After a restart, the message disappears and the 313 PS are again available to 100%.

Since BMW France suspected a problem with sensors rather than a motor problem, all sensors were replaced without really finding a solution.

A handcrafted buyer will certainly find a solution by expanding and purifying certain parts in the engine. Since BMW has announced me costs of about 2,000 for addressing the problem, I offer the vehicle for sale for 17,000 2,500 = 14,500, with the future buyer acting in full knowledge of the situation.
