BMW E61 525d from 2007. He ran 308000 km and goes very well. The car is complete series up to a retrofitted Andriod radio with Apple CarPlay. I used the car almost only for commuting for work, about 116km a day and always warm. No corrosion can be detected at the bottom.
Defects: The 5th gear slips out at full load. The car can still be driven without problems and you can give full gas in every gear, just not in the 5th gear. Front right wings. A new fender (painted in car colour and made of aluminium) is available. Rear window cable harness right defective. (Accredited E61 problem. PDC O.F.
What the TÜV has denied: Crossbars at the front bottom must be new. Rear tyres have to be new.
At present the car stands on winter tires (as stated the two rear must be new). A set of summer tyres is available. Bridgestone Turanza T005 245/40 18XL from 2025 drove a season.
