2000 BMW 525iA Touring E39 Facelift

Here is a BMW 525iA E39 Touring Facelift from November 2000. The tour stands for its age relatively well, the interior is well maintained and knows for the age relatively few signs of use.

The BMW is reliable and suitable for everyday use, jumps in every weather and runs well. The automatic also turns inconspicuous, all in all, the 5's is comfortable considering the age. Also suitable as winter car, transition vehicle or construction car (AHK removable, trailer load 1900 Kg)

The wear parts are largely in good condition, only the two rear tires are retracted inside (BMW-typical), but a set of good summer tires is still included. Everything was done for the last TÜV (welding work, wear parts) and some parts were renewed and a large inspection was carried out.

Nevertheless, the Touring is 26 years old and accordingly there are also some signs of use on the outside. Welded spots would definitely have to be reworked (both sills, side wall right and three other smaller points), the winter operation in the salt unfortunately left its mark. In addition, this 5's like all this series also has problems with the rusting tailgate. Some dents and scratches are also present, I tried to keep everything as close as possible in the pictures.

From a technical point of view, the rear brake (cover good) and the window lifter side squeaks. Furthermore, the heat protection sheet can also be heard with a strongly uneven roadway. In addition, the tensioning roller of the V-belt should be renewed, but new parts are already included. As I said, the 5's 26 years old, there's always something to do on such a car!
