BMW X3 E83 2.0d 150 HP – TÜV 06/2028 – 196.522 km – many new parts – warehouse damage

For sale is my BMW X3 E83 2.0d with 150 hp, built in 2007, with 196,522 km.

The X3 has TÜV/HU until 06/2028.

I have invested a lot of money and work in the vehicle in recent times and has renewed numerous important parts. The car was technically in good condition after extensive repairs.

Unfortunately, the engine now makes clear clasp/button noises. According to the previously interviewed mechanic, there is a suspicion of a connecting rod bearing/storage damage. The engine is still running, but it makes these sounds. I no longer carried out a complete dismantling of the engine for the final determination of the damage.

Because of the investments already made, I do not want to further repair the vehicle itself and therefore sell it explicitly as a defective vehicle/bassler vehicle.

In recent months, the following work has been carried out and parts renewed:

Engine:

* Control chain renewed * new valves * new valve shaft seals / scraping rings * new hydropumps * new cylinder head seal * Working on cylinder head * Renewed crankcase ventilation * new turbocharger * new bulbs * new glow plug controller * Diesel pump renewed in tank * Oil pan or oil tank seal renewed * complete engine oil/filter service performed

Drive and liquids:

* Gear oil changed * Distribution gear oil changed * Differential oil changed * Renewed brake fluid

Brake system:

* all four brake pistons renewed * Renewed brake hoses

Electrical and auxiliary equipment:

* new battery * new lighting machine * V-belt renewed * all deflection/guide rollers renewed * Air conditioning refilled

Other:

* new windscreen wipers

Current state

The BMW jumps and the engine runs, but with clearly audible clasp/button noises.

According to the mechanic, the suspicion lies on a connecting rod bearing/storage damage. The exact damage and the extent of any necessary engine repair were no longer found by me.

Therefore expressly sale as a defective vehicle/bassler vehicle.

Due to the many components already renewed, the X3 may be interesting for someone who can repair the engine himself or a vehicle as a base or Spare parts.

No emergency sale. I already invested a lot in the vehicle and wanted to continue the X3. However, due to the motor damage that has now occurred, I decided not to invest any more major engine repair.
