For sale is a rare Fiat Tipo 2.0 i.e. 8V from 1991 with the legendary 2.0-liter Lampredi engine (83 kW / 113 hp).

The Tipo is in a very good optical and technical condition for its age. From 2024 to 2026 he was extensively revised and regularly maintained. Current mileage: 114,000 km, 3rd hand, ready for use.

Engine and technology

The engine was extensively revised in 2024. Among other things, piston rings, valves, connecting rod bearings and all toothed belts were renewed. Since then, only about 8,000 km have been driven.

The brake system was also renewed or revised in 2024:

- brake discs and fittings new - brake hoses and brake lines new - rear axle removed and revised

Further work kept the Tipo technically reliable. An oil service has been provided annually since the revision. The last service was carried out in May 2026, including liquid change.

Bodywork and painting

The body is in a very good condition overall. The vehicle was completely in the original Fiat color or Factory colour code painted, including doors and hoods. The engine room remained in its original condition.

Wheels, doors, suspension domes, axle mounts and underfloor are very well preserved. A light grate at the front left of the sleeper can be viewed during the visit.

The last main investigation was passed without any problems. TÜV exists until September 2028.

Rare 16V equipment

The Tipo has several rare features from the 16V:

- Recaro seat from Tipo 16V - 16V door trims - 16V cooling grill - Rear lights (full red)

In addition, OZ rims and depths with ABE are present. Excessive reconstructions have been dispensed with, the classical character is preserved.

Known points

As usual with a vehicle over 30 years old, there are some well-known points.

There is currently a slight oil loss between engine block and gear, probably at the rear crankshaft sealing ring. The gear should be removed for the repair. Since the loss is low, the work has not yet been carried out.

In the last exhaust test, it took a little longer until the prescribed values were reached. The catalyst could therefore become a topic in the long term.

The vehicle is ready to move.

An H mark has not been applied for personal reasons.
