Ford Escort built in 1997 ready to drive, many works done but still much has to be done

Hello everyone,

I sell here my Ford Escort from 1997.

The vehicle has been in the possession of an elderly lady since 1997, who unfortunately passed away. I bought the car for my sister in March. Since then, a lot has been done on the vehicle and it is currently still driven occasionally.

What has already been done:

* Brake drums at the rear incl. Brake linings renewed * Spark plugs renewed * Oil change performed * Fuel filter renewed * Various light bulbs renewed * Springs renewed at the front * CarPlay radio retrofitted

I think the engine runs very well. The car has been driven a lot on long distances in the past and drives pleasantly and economically. The transmission shifts cleanly and the brakes work well.

Defects / what needs to be done:

The car is not a new car and is expressly sold as an older used/bastler vehicle.

Unfortunately, my sister hit a curb at about 25 km/h. The right tie rod was slightly bent. Since then, a slight wobbling/vibration can be felt when accelerating between about 20 and 80 km/h.

The front is new and should still be painted

For the next TÜV, among other things, the tie rod or the resulting problems must be made. In addition, due to age, the vehicle has rust in the lower area as well as some scratches and dents on the body.

Visually, the escort is therefore definitely no longer perfect. If you are looking for a cheap old car and can screw it yourself or know someone who knows it, can still do a lot here.

The car is still registered and is currently still moved.
