For sale is my Ford Mondeo MK3, built in 2004, with 2.0-liter gasoline engine, automatic transmission and LPG gas plant. I am the second owner.

Mileage: 259,000 km. The vehicle is still driven by me every day, so the mileage can increase until the sale.

For his age, the Mondeo is in good and well-kept condition. Of course, traces of use due to age and use are present on the paint and in the interior.

Equipment:

In addition, the V-ribbed belt (drive for alternator and servo pump) including tensioning roller and a new water pump were replaced and installed on the vehicle.

The car is comparatively cheap in maintenance due to LPG. LPG is sometimes available at self-service filling stations for about 0.91 /litre.

TÜV/HU until December 2026. I am planning the next HU as early as November 2026. According to my current state of knowledge, there are no technical deficiencies that prevent HU acceptance.

Known defects

Air conditioning: The air conditioning does not cool. The cause is unknown; For example, a lack of refrigerant or a problem with the compressor are possible. Diagnosis/repair has not yet been performed. The heating, on the other hand, works very well and the interior quickly becomes warm in winter.

Driver's seat: Seat heating and height adjustment/microlift do not work. The seat heating on the passenger side works.

Radio: Currently, a radio from another Ford model is installed. The original works radio was defective. The original radio is available and is given along with the accompanying documents.

The points mentioned did not significantly affect me in everyday use.

Reason for the sale

We have a large family and need more space for longer journeys. That is why I would like to switch to a larger and more comfortable minibus.

It is a 2004 vehicle and not a new one. Age-related traces of use and future maintenance and repair costs shall be taken into account for a vehicle of that age.
