The IONIQ is particularly efficient for city, shuttle and short-haul rides. When the battery is charged, many everyday stretches can be reset purely electrically and without gasoline consumption. If the electric range is used up, the vehicle automatically moves on as a saving hybrid. During braking and rolling out, energy is recovered by recuperation.

In the last about 5,500 km, I occasionally loaded the car externally and in particular city routes frequently driven electrically. With my personal driving and loading profile, only about two and a half tank fillings were required. The actual consumption depends, of course, on the individual driving and charging behavior.
