Sell my old Mazda 6.

I have owned the car for 2 years and have used it mainly as a commuter vehicle.

The car runs well and the engine runs very reliably. For the last 2 years I just had to change the thermostat and brakes and refill oil regularly.

Unfortunately, the car is now rusting heavily. For this reason, I went to a car mechanic. A grate spot at the bottom of the body was found, which requires welding work. Apart from that, the rust is still in the frame.

For this reason, I did not want to invest any more money in repairs for the TÜV and therefore sell the car without TÜV. TÜV expired in July 2026.

The exhaust gas values were checked and were in order.

In addition, the end pot has recently fallen off the exhaust pipe, since the fastening, i.e. the bell is rusted through.

The exhaust was temporarily reattached with a metal wire.

The window lifter button for the passenger side on the driver side works but sits a bit loose and can move when actuated

Ventilation is working. Air conditioning is not.

Those who are technically familiar with cars and can carry out repairs themselves can correct the defects with appropriate effort and bring the car back to a better condition. If the grate is welded correctly, the car will certainly continue to drive reliably.

I have now bought a new car. Since then, the Mazda stands and is no longer used.
