I already had some MX5 (NA to ND) and also this NC is absolutely brilliant to move again. The deflection is super precise and it can be rotated wonderfully around the central axis. One can choose its line freely, the suspension is not too hard, not too soft, the brake harmonizes wonderfully with the low weight. Oil and water temp remain within the frame and the sound does not have to hide.

This NC rides as you wish and is just great fun.

The following modifications ensure:

+ 2.0 l engine swap from NC2 (improved basic engine) + Large Water Cooler (SPS)

+ Short differential with original lock (20 - 30%)

+ 5 gear transmission

+ Tein Flex Z 24-speed adjustable

+ Autec Wizard 7,5x17 with Federal Semislicks (215/40r17). Neon powdered, currently black coated + 4x Federal in reserve

+ Series rims with winter tyres (goods with standing tyres over winter)

+ VA perforated brake disc with yellow EBC lining

+ brake ventilation

+ Steelflex brake cables

+ Reinforced motor bearings

+ roll bar

+ All rubber bearings replaced by PU

VA camber adjustable on all 4 handlebars (going to close to -5°) Domstrebe VA with HBZ support

+ NC2 front with cup lip

+ driver seat replaced by shell seat, + optional 3 point belt or 6 point belt (original seat available)

+ steering wheel new

+ armrest with compartment

+ oil and (real) water temperature indicator

+ aftermarket ESD with EG

+ Prepared for RX8 brake (e.g. large anchor plates, drive shafts, diffuse...)

The vehicle is technically in a top condition, optically it has a dent on the right door that almost does not notice.

Thanks to the adjustable suspension, the car is fully everyday and can be used for long tours as well as sports adventures. The seat also offers large persons (approx. 1.90m with 93kg) sufficient space and is also not uncomfortable.

The paint on the tailgate with Ducktail is not so well painted. And yes the body had a little rust, but is really good for NC ratios. For this, it was completely sealed with wax and e.g. Owatrol No winter / rain last years.

There are also some parts to it, original tailgate, taillights, struts, drive shafts, diffuse....
