For sale is my Mazda MX-5 NA 1.6 from 1990.

The vehicle has an H sign. TÜV until 05/2027.

The MX-5 has recently been extensively revised so that many typical maintenance work has already been completed.

Recently renewed / carried out:

* Engine oil and filter about 350 km * new cooler * new thermostat * new cooler lid * Strap incl. Clamping/deflecting rollers * Water pump * Side belt * new original crankshaft gear / pulley * various shaft sealing rings * CAS seal / O ring * valve cover seal

The engine was cleaned and re-sealed during work and is currently dry.

Important / transparent to the state: On the crankshaft nose or The groove for the wedge has already been repaired in the past. The original wedge therefore no longer sits in the usual way.

As part of the last works, however, a new gear wheel, a new pulley and new seals were mounted. The pulley runs clean and without visible impact, the motor runs smoothly and evenly.

It is important to me to mention this point openly and not only during the visit.

* H sign * electric. Window lifter * original interior * Mazda MOMO steering wheel * original Mazda rims * Underfloor preserved * supporting areas, sills and longitudinal beams in good condition

Only slight or superficial corrosion was found in the TÜV, and the supporting regions are stable.

The car drives very nicely and makes exactly what you expect from a classic MX-5. Due to the low weight, the 1.6-liter engine and the direct driving feeling, it is very much fun on land roads.

Invoices and documents relating to the work carried out are available. In addition, photos of repairs as well as videos can be shown from the motor race and from the underfloor.

The sale is not due to a technical problem. Due to a change in our private situation, we need a more practical or larger vehicle in future, which is why the MX-5 is sold again.
