Hello together, for sale is my honest and well maintained Mazda MX-5 NB from the year 2000 with the reliable 1.6l motor (110 hp) and 5-speed manual transmission. The car currently has approx. 184,000 km running and is in a good and honest condition according to age. He was parked with me almost exclusively in the garage.

Bodywork, top & Known defects: I sell the car with full transparency so that no misunderstandings arise: Rust: For an MX-5 NB, the vehicle has comparatively little grate. A threshold was already sealed by the previous owner. On the wheel run on one side there is a small grate bubble (still unopened). A suitable can of varnish and clear varnish I give off directly on sale. At the bottom there are the model-typical light surface approaches, but nothing unusual for this age. Light oil loss (valve cover seal): The car easily loses oil on the cylinder head lid. The reason is probably the valve cover seal (rubber seal), since the screws were tightened slightly during the last service. The seal is a cheap spare part and can be changed quickly. Exhaust gas odour/catalyst: The car has a somewhat stronger exhaust gas odour, which is probably the catalyst. In the TÜV there were no problems with me or with the previous owner (AU), but should be mentioned for the sake of completeness. Cover: fabric top with heatable glass rear window. The top is absolutely dense in normal rain. (Important note: washing plant trips should be avoided, as water can enter due to the high pressure due to the design).

The car is dry in Stuttgart-Möhringen. A visit is possible at any time after consultation. The price can be negotiated within a realistic framework on site.
