The 5 biggest vulnerabilities of this model have been addressed by specialist companies in the last 24 months:

Motor & Oil Cooler (May 2026): For around 4,000, the infamous V of the engine was freshly sealed (new oil cooler & Simmerring). Includes all 6 glow plugs, a complete cooling system flush, fresh oil change and new fuel filter.

4MATIC all-wheel transmission (center 2024): For more than 3,500 completely overhauled, rinsed (at the transmission specialist Herrmanns) and newly sealed (elastomer mold seal). Includes new front cardan wave. The all-wheel drive system is practically in new condition.

3. Airmatic aerial chassis (end of 2024): Control unit, sensor linkage and transverse beam/transverse link were newly installed directly at Mercedes-Benz in Cologne, calibrated and the axle geometry adjusted.

4. Driving comfort (early 2025): New original Mercedes-Benz engine and gearbox bearings eliminate all vibrations. Brake discs and linings were completely renewed.

5. Onboard Electronics & Comfort (Spring 2026): A brand new Varta AGM battery (95 Ah) protects against electronic errors. The air conditioner is freshly maintained and disinfected.

Optical upgrades:

Bumper front and rear professionally repainted due to typical clearcoat chipping (billing over 1,000 is absolutely accident-free!). Discs rear, sides and front discreetly foiled (300).
