For sale is my Mercedes-Benz W124 230E automatic from 1991.

The car presents itself in the coveted colour combination smoke silver on the outside and Brazil brown in the interior. The 230E already has an H approval and has approximately one year HU. Due to the technical condition and the extensive maintenance work I look forward to the next HU.

original mats special detail A real highlight for W124 lovers are the original mats with Mercedes-Benz logo, which fit exactly to the brazil brown interior. The mats are in an almost perfect original condition. Such an original version is only very difficult to find today, especially in this state of preservation.

Technical condition & maintenance

Since I have been working in the automotive industry for around 12 years, I have been waiting for the vehicle and numerous work has been carried out professionally. Recently, the following work has been done:

-Brems system completely renewed -Ventil lid seal renewed -Heckflake rubber renewed - Antenna rubber renewed - many axle and steering parts renewed -Oil + all filters renewed - further maintenance and maintenance work carried out

Bodywork & rust

The body substance should be highlighted in particular. For a W124 from 1991 the car is only slightly affected by rust.

Especially important: The car lifts are stainless. Of course, there are age-related traces and some places that can still be done. These are deliberately called open.

Known defects

I would like to offer the vehicle honestly and transparently: -The sliding roof is currently without function; the sliding roof motor must be replaced. -The roof sky should be retrieved. - There are small rust points on the fender tips. -The bonnet has clearcoat damage, which is due to an earlier own experiment by a previous owner. -The driver's seat has the typical W124 cutting point. I give a matching new seat cover when selling. - There is no air conditioning.

These points are deliberately called open. The car is therefore not offered as a perfect showroom vehicle, but as an honest W124 with good base and some still open work.

Open work possible upon request before handover

If you would like to, the work still pending can be carried out before the transfer of the vehicle against corresponding costs.

Possible, for example: -Sliding roof motor replacement -Renewing the roof sky - Processing of grate points at the fender tips - Processing of clearcoat damage at the hood -Renewing the driver seat cover

What work should be done can be agreed individually. The corresponding costs are discussed in advance.

Visit expressly requested

In case of serious interest, the vehicle can be fully assessed on site on a lifting platform. A technical examination by the interested party is expressly desired. I care that the buyer knows exactly what he buys. Therefore, I have no problem with the vehicle being thoroughly looked at from below and technically tested.

For W124 lovers If you are looking for a perfect showroom W124 without any signs of use, you will probably not find the right vehicle here. If you are looking for an honest W124, you should take a closer look at this car.
