Mini Cooper S R53 John Cooper Works original JCW, 200 hp

For sale is my well-kept and now very rare Mini Cooper S of the first generation (R53) in the original John Cooper Works (JCW) version.

It is an ex works delivered JCW model with registered 200 hp. The original factory tuning kit No. S773 is registered in the vehicle licence and includes, among other things, the modified control unit, the JCW cylinder head and the JCW exhaust system.

Extensive engine overhaul

A special advantage of the vehicle is the verifiable and extensive engine revision.

In July 2021, the engine was comprehensively overhauled at 137,746 km at BMW and mini specialist B&H Motorsport. The cost was 7,602,16. The original invoice and the corresponding documents are available.

In the course of the work, among other things, the following were carried out or renewed:

Summer: Sparco Pro Corsa 17 inches in Black Silk Matter. The rims are in very good condition without damage. Due to age, summer tyres should be renewed soon.

Winter: OZ Ultraleggera 17 inches in black silk mat with good winter tires. The rims have lightweight, typical curbstones, but run smoothly and roundly.

Driving sensation

The R53 is known for its unique go-kart riding feel and that’s what makes this car so special.

The compressor ensures the typical character of the R53, pulls through cleanly and offers the distinctive sound for which this generation of the Mini Cooper S is particularly appreciated by lovers.

The original JCW equipment, the registered 200 hp and above all the extensively documented engine overhaul make it an interesting vehicle for lovers and connoisseurs of the R53 series.
