2006 MINI Mini Cooper / nicht voll fahrbereit

The MINI was driven mainly by my daughter as a first car and is overall in a well-kept condition. The current mileage is about 115,000 km.

The vehicle includes all-weather tyres and an additional set of winter tyres.

Recently, the MINI was presented in a workshop, as the engine power was no longer available as usual. During diagnosis, the DME error code 2845 was read out. According to the previous assessment, there is a conspicuity in the area of the VANOS/acting movement.

The Mini is ready to drive! But longer journeys should be avoided.

Brakes, clutch, transmission and steering work to our knowledge without abnormalities. Apart from the error described above, we are currently not aware of any other technical problems.

Since the cost of a professional repair in a workshop is too high for me, I have decided to sell the MINI in its current condition. The known error is explicitly and transparently stated here.

Recently, the following parts have already been renewed:

spark plugs, ignition coils and V-ribbed belts.

The corresponding invoices are available and can of course be viewed.

The MINI is therefore particularly suitable for someone who can carry out the repair himself or has a more favorable option for repair.

Private sale / disclaimer

The sale takes place privately, excluding liability for material defects. The above-described DME error code 2845 or the known anomaly in the area of the VANOS/acting movement was expressly disclosed and is known to the buyer before the conclusion of the purchase contract.

The exclusion of liability for material defects does not apply to claims for intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty as well as for damages arising from injury to life, body or health. Claims for fraudulently concealed defects or expressly accepted guarantees also remain unaffected.

No withdrawal. A subsequent purchase price reduction due to the error already expressly disclosed is excluded.
