Porsche 911 SC – 3,2-liter conversion | Safari Style | Motorsport history
This 911 SC is not a vehicle close to the standard, but a consistently built and technically extensively modified Elfer with motorsport history and a clearly safari inspired look.
The vehicle was previously used at Rückert Motorsport in Düsseldorf and subsequently extensively rebuilt. Bodywork, suspension, drive and interior were significantly changed and aligned for a sporty purpose.
The combination of extended bodywork, individual suspension tuning, corresponding wheel/ripen combination and the overall robust look consciously reminds of classic safari and rally structures without losing the independent character of the vehicle.
The currently displayed around 6.573 km correspond to the running performance since the vehicle conversion and do not represent the overall running performance of the base vehicle.
History & condition
– Year of manufacture 1981 – 11 vehicle holders – Around 6.573 km since vehicle conversion – motorsport past at Rückert Motorsport in Düsseldorf – Safari-inspired individual setup – Extensive technical and optical conversion – As part of our assessment, no evidence of previous accident damage could be found on the bodywork. – Extensive individualization of technology, chassis, bodywork and interior
Due to the history and the extensive modifications, we strongly recommend that interested parties take sufficient time for the vehicle and the existing documents during a visit.
Engine & Drive
A motor converted to 3.2 litres is installed in the vehicle.
The engine configuration includes:
– 3,2-liter conversion – camshafts from the Porsche 964 – Customized engine control / Chiptuning – Sporty overall configuration
The engine conversion significantly shapes the character of the vehicle and fits the consistently sporting orientation of the entire structure.
Suspension & steering
– Bilstein special suspension – Turbo steering – Bump-Steer Kit – Individually matched chassis components – Light metal wheels in individual configuration
Chassis and steering were also reworked according to the sporting orientation and go significantly beyond the standard of a 911 SC.
Body & Safari Style
The body was extensively changed during the reconstruction.
– Wide body – GRP body parts – Safari-inspired overall optics – motorsport-oriented construction – Individual wheel/ripen combination
The safari character is not created by individual attachments, but by the interaction of chassis, bodywork, wheels and the overall functional, motorsport-related orientation.
As part of our current assessment, no evidence of previous accident damage could be found on the existing body structure. Due to the history and age of the vehicle, we expressly understand this statement as an evaluation of the state that can be determined for us.
Interior
The interior was also completely adapted to the overall concept of the vehicle and was clearly individualized.
In addition to the sporting orientation, the vehicle has a retrofitted electric air conditioning.
This 911 does not focus on originality in the classical sense. Rather interesting is the connection of motorsport history, safari inspired optics, individual construction and a variety of technical changes that have led to today's vehicle for many years.
The vehicle is thus directed in particular to interested persons who deliberately seek a self-built classic 911 and no standard SC.
The vehicle is offered in the customer order.
Sightseeing and sampling are possible after prior appointment.
Further documentation on the history and the reconstructions carried out can be viewed with serious interest.
