1980 Porsche 924 Targa 2.0L/EZ 10.80 (Mj.1981)/...

Beautiful, timeless classic favorite Porsche from my formerly extensive collection from 924 and 944 in the sporty elegant shade of diamond silver and the ever-popular removable Targa roof (tight and firm thanks to new seal). Restored and original except for some small optical improvements and individualizations, which can be undone at any time if it has to be. The car is built in October 1980 but already model year 1981 with the model care measures carried out since after the factory holidays produced. In the long time in my possession, I have spared no expense or effort for many years to restore the car from the ground up and make it an absolute eye-catcher in every respect, to which many interested-admiring looks are thrown even in a big city like Berlin ... and sometimes you are even addressed while refueling or shopping with compliments for the car. Extensive image and documentation marerial can be handed over to the buyer. Over time, almost every screw and every component on this car has been touched once and if necessary renewed i.e. everything works, is completely present and rust absolutely no topic, the paintwork in the original color diamond-silver has also been renewed with care and love and presents itself in very good condition except for minimal traces of use. The black interior shows itself with professionally newly occupied and upholstered seat system in the popular Pascha pattern as well as the original dashboard WITHOUT the usual cracks also in excellent condition with only light pleasant patina,added to 36cm full leather sports steering wheel,the 924S/944 originated leather shift knob,centre armrest with storage compartment,coffee room roller blind,Targa roof pocket and the coveted door cardboard with embossed Porsche lettering only in the model year 1981.Especially complex was the conversion of the fan unit to the much more powerful version from the 944, which from Mj82 also became in the 24 series and is a gain in operation with increased humidity and possibly low temperatures as well as the rewiring of the original radio system with 4 oval speaker units. All wear parts/liquids were replaced in a timely manner, including toothed belts/V-belts and oil/filters in August 2025,before countless works such as renewal of brakes and wheel bearings front/rear, newly mounted transaxle tube,new clutch,LiMa,lighter flywheel, ignition plugs, injection nozzles/lines, fuel and sports air filters (KN), pressure accumulator, gasoline pump, valve cover seal, underbody sealing and a partial engine revision with new head gasket and bearing shells, new (non-entry!) Bilstein B6 Sport shock absorber with discreet lowering (rear via adjustment of the rear axle swords), transverse link/dome bearing/stabilizer rubber/exhaust system as well as black-silver 15′′ deep-bed rims in the contemporary Borbet style, which give the relatively graceful-feminine car a serious-burschikose touch. In addition, there is the same brand new rim set in silver for free and (for all friends of absolute originality) a set of original Porsche rims in the then trendy 924 turbo look. motor is tight, runs quietly straight, attracts powerfully and sounds self-consciously sporty without annoying; There is also a brand new original-packaged exhaust pot for all those who are already satisfied with less in optics and sound. This 924 with H license plate / report and current TÜV until 02/2027 and a mileage of about 78100 km (speed five-digit, i.e. age-appropriate real mileage rather 278.000km after more than 40 years) offers everything that the heart of a Transaxle enthusiast / unbiased Porsche lover desires at still moderate maintenance and spare parts costs. An all-round great and honest car at the absolutely fair winter sale fixed price.
