For sale is an honest classic with a truly extraordinary story: a first generation Ibiza, last series, as a special model "Friend".

The car comes directly from our neighbors and was passed on there only once within the family over the years from the mother to the daughter both first owners still live. The small 58,156 km can be proven by the checkbook.

The Ibiza has the strong 1.5-liter engine with 90 hp. Directly on the day of the first registration, however, it was throttled to 70 hp by means of a throttle valve stop (handwritten in the vehicle letter and the registration!). This throttle has only now been expanded as part of the overhaul. This means that this engine has not once run at full speed in its 58,000 km! More gently, an engine over 33 years can hardly have been treated.

Since the car has been dry and covered in a hall for the last 9 years, it has now been brought out of sleep with great effort and technically comprehensively overhauled.

In order to make the car roadworthy and suitable for everyday use again, a major repair was carried out:

HU/AU (TÜV) new, until 09/2028

Toothed belts Water pump new, fresh oil change, cooling water new, air filter new.

Brakes completely new! (all brake hoses, calipers, front and rear linings, front discs, wheel cylinders, brake fluid)

Ignition harness, distributor and spark plugs new.

New 52Ah VARTA battery installed.

Very well preserved equipment! Nothing scraped off, nothing consumes the interior presents itself almost like an annual car.

The Ibiza is in the original first paint. Honest and unfamiliar. As small traces of use from the last 34 years, he has only two small parking mattresses (right and left). And a few minimal bubbles on the fenders. Otherwise, almost stainless!

Electrical windows, central locking and headlamp luminance control function. The original radio is available.

Brand new Vredestein - Quatrac 5 All-weather tires. The original 13-inch steel rims are virtually stainless!
