VW Caddy Life 1.6 Gasoline | Minicamper | replacement engine and coupling at 190.000km | TÜV 07/26

Note: currently disassembled from the pictures without rail and roof support.

We sell our VW Caddy Life 1.6 gasoline, built in 2006, which we bought in 2020. He accompanied us on many trips and was the perfect mix of day-to-day city car and inconspicuous mini camper for us.

Special highlight: At approx. 190.000 km a general overhauled engine was installed in 2021, including new toothed belt. In the course of this, the coupling was also renewed. The engine and clutch have run just under 70,000, the body around 257,000.

The caddy was also regularly maintained and invested in important repairs. The last inspection he had at the beginning of the year and fresh TÜV he got in July (together with my new set of all-weather tires). Invoices about all done maintenance, repairs etc are present.

Minicamper construction

The bed installation is flexible:

* 120 x 200 cm floor area * alternatively 70 x 200 cm, so there is also room for e.g. B. a racing wheel remains * Mattresses in very good condition can be delivered * Curtains for darkening available * Discs are already darkened

* Front window ventilation grid for camping

Accessories

* Roofbox included * Bicycle carriers available (2 screws are missing, I think I can be bought in the construction market) * Marking with bars, mounting/metal rail should be renewed * there is also a set of rims with old winter tires on request * original roof sky

Known defects:

Of course, the car has some scratches and traces of use due to age. See photos.

Otherwise important to know:

* Cigarette lighter on back and in trunk without function. Probably only the fuses are out, but should be checked * Right sliding door closes/opens via central lock occasionally incorrect and then has to be manually operated * Front seat cover worn (see photos) * Sliding window (the rear in the sliding door) does not open (but is sealed)

Overall, the caddy for his age is in a good, well maintained state.

We're not selling him out of trouble, but because we've grown up.

We would be happy if the caddy made the next adventurer happy!
