I think about almost a year if I really want to sell my Golf One. Yesterday the decision was made that the golf is sold. For over 26 years, the golf has been completely rebuilt and painted in 2000-2002. The painting is a pearl painting that is now 24 years old. The Rally-Golf Front was also nicely incorporated (company), while the front wings were adapted to the front. Both doors were equipped with the Audi door handles (company). The steel sliding roof is from the Scirocco. The tailgate was also worked, rear wiper was removed as the trunk lock. For this purpose a sheet was used by the Corrado with VW Emblem (company). In this train, the rear window was replaced by one without heating wires. The spare wheel trough was removed and closed thus gets space for the central pipe exhaust system. The wipers in front were converted to single-arm wipers (company). The golf has been converted to servo steering from the convertible, as is the amaturen board from the Golf 1 convertible. The Edition One seats are in good condition and come from a golf 2. The speedometer was also machined, 12 o'clock position, speedometer discs in silver me Km/H extension. Cable connection from Golf Two, as well as the brake system "punched" comes from a G60. The bearing front axle and rear axle were reinforced. The brake hoses were replaced by steel flexible lines. The suspension was renewed 5 years ago, a Spax threaded suspension with hardness adjustment was installed. Exhaust system with compartment elbow is made of stainless steel. The gear is a short-translated rope hoist gear with Sachs clutch, sports disc. The clutch actuation was NOT converted to hydraulic clutch. The drive shafts were reduced to too much pressure on the diffuse. The bumpers in the Golf G60 look are from Bonrath, there was then a small series suitable for the Golf 1. The Felgendesgin is from the Audi Ur-Quattro Sport, front 8x15 ET15, rear 8x15 ET0 with 195/45R15 with good profile. Now to the engine, it is an ABF 2.0 16v from a passage. The engine was completely revised before 1800Km, i.e. all bearings, seals, new valve guides, cylinders only had to be honed, pistons were reworked by the company of choice and equipped with new improved piston rings. Crank shaft was finely heated as well as the flywheel and auxiliary shaft. Dbilas single throttle system with Spoert camshafts from Schrick was installed and the ignition system was replaced by single spark coils from the Audi R8. The control now takes over Emu Classic freely programmable system. The interior has been completely cleared and painted, the interior carpet has no longer been installed since the visual lacquering is very nice to look, also fits better with the theme of the golf. An aluminum cage is installed, the door cross strut has been extended, but are still present. I'm sure I forgot some more. Now to the small construction sites that have accumulated over recent years. Unfortunately, the adjustment is no longer possible during the remodeling of the sliding roof, neither open nor open. It is one thing of the adjustment from the sunroof, but it hardly knows one with the technology:-(. The engine / Emu requires a tuning on the test bench, is ready to move but not the power that the engine should have / could have. So the golf will not pass the next AU! The electric trunk lock gave up the mind two weeks ago. the exhaust system hits a little on the rear axle. When driving, I noticed the exhaust gas dragging into the interior or it could also come to fat, it really can't limit it further. The rear right brake caliper has slightly weakened during the last Tüv test, think it will be due during the next test. Electricity should be checked once, after 43 years it is not a mistake and should be taken seriously. The charge control lamp burns/climates permanently but the light engine charges the battery. 3-4 years ago, the Lima controller was defective and has put overvoltage into the system, maybe it comes.
