I sell my VW Polo 9N, built in 2008, which I own since 2015.

I took over the polo at about 60,000 km and I've been driving over 100,000 km. In this time, he was a very reliable and cheap everyday car for me: he never abandoned me and there were major repairs or technical problems in all these years.

If you do not expect a new car, you will find a simple and reliable car for everyday life, the way to work, shorter distances or as a second car, you will get that from my point of view.

Vehicle data & equipment:

- VW Polo 9N - First registration 04/2008 - 44 kW / 60 hp - approx. 162.700 km is occasionally driven - 2/3 doors - 5 seats - Air conditioning - Radio with USB port - HU to 04/2028 - Oil change last April 2026 - 8 times mature; 4 almost new winter tyres, so far only one season - since 2015 in my possession, taken over with approx. 61,000 km

Known points of transparency:

It is important to me to describe the polo as it is. In a vehicle of this age there are of course signs of use and some points that you should know:

Rust on both sides below the doors: Below the left and right side door there are rust points. At the last HU, these were assessed or noted, but the Polo passed the HU.

The workshop then sanded off the affected areas somewhat and aftertreated with color. In the meantime, some grate is again visible. For a future HU, rework could therefore be necessary again.

Scratch on the right side of the vehicle: The right side was scratched over a longer distance a few years ago when someone damaged several cars in our street. The scratch is visually visible, but has not formed there.

Stone strike at the top right in the front panel: The stone strike has been available for about five years. A workshop looked at this time and did not see any immediate need for action. He has also not been objected to the previous main investigations. The disc has been stable since then.

Something oil should be kept in mind: The polo has been using some oil for many years. In normal everyday operation, this is hardly relevant to me normally only once or twice a year. Depending on the driving performance, so rough up to about one liter a year.

For longer distances, I control the oil level beforehand and have some oil in the car. I would recommend that to the next owner. In normal operation this has caused no problems over all the years.

I still have about 5 liters in the garage and give it to the buyer free of charge.

Why we sell him:

Actually, I'd go on the polo until he doesn't want to. It is favorable in maintenance, reliable and completely sufficient for normal everyday trips.

However, we expect young people and have therefore moved to a larger car. Since we don't need two vehicles, the Polo can move on now.

For someone who is looking for a cheap, honest and reliable everyday car and can live with the described optical or age-related points, he is a very reasonable solution from my point of view.
