Volvo V50 D3 150 HP Automatic – Motor overhauled – Repair vehicle

I'll drop my Volvo V50 on the basis of a repair-needed automatic transmission and an air conditioning system that is currently not working.

Especially interesting: The engine!

The engine was overhauled at about 200,000 km and has only run around 149.000 km since this overhaul. The engine runs very well and reliably. It also shows good performance during longer trips as well as mountain and valley routes on the motorway.

Consumption is about 6.5 litres/100 km, despite a high proportion of urban transport.

Maintenance and repair:

The checkbook was run until 2024, so that maintenance history is easy to understand.

Over the past two years, I have carried out among other things:

Oil change both front lamps right renewed Pollenfilter renewed coupling rod front right renewed

Known defects:

Automatic transmission in need of repair: When inserting “D” a noise is to be heard. The car continues to drive and the gear continues to work. The reverse gear is set clean and without noise. A precise diagnosis or repair of the transmission was no longer carried out by me.

Air conditioning non-function: According to information, the repair is expected to be around € 280 plus installation.

The Volvo has scratches and traces of use corresponding to its age and running performance. The parking aid at the rear works perfectly.

My impression: Whoever with Volvo or Automatic transmissions or even have repair possibilities, gets here a V50 with a comparatively young, overhauled engine. The engine has only run around 149.000 km since the overhaul.

The sale is expressly made as a repair/basket vehicle due to the above shortcomings.
