2006 Volvo VOLVO V70 2.4, Leder, Xenon, Handschaltung

A VOLVO V70 II from the 2006 model year is offered here with the robust 2.4 litre 5-cylinder sucker engine (engine code B5244SG) and manual gearshift (M56 transmission). We have been driving Volvo V70 here in the family for over 20 years and I wanted to fulfill a personal dream with this beautiful blue station wagon as a Sunday car next to our Daily Driver (V70 D5). Unfortunately, for family reasons, I have not yet come to push the project forward in recent months. Now the garage for this vehicle has also disappeared and therefore I would like to hand over the car to other hands with a heavy heart due to lack of time and space

The V70 offered here is a so-called BiFuel vehicle. Since the installed CGN natural gas tanks lose their operating license after 20 years and there is no economically viable replacement for this, the plant must be at least partially dismantled (tanks and pipelines removed). The car can then be operated with a so-called change acceptance (230, - ) as a pure petrol vehicle for road traffic again. I discussed all this with the TÜV on site and it is really not a work of witches, but basically quite simple.

The offered V70 has the beautiful paint system Barentsblau Metallic, which harmonises very well with the beige leather interior. The leather is (also in the driver's seat!) in a really good condition which in itself is a rarity. Xenon lighting and the Sachs level mats on the rear axle are additional valuable features. The vehicle has a very clean interior and has very little wear around it (see photos).

It should also be emphasized that this V70 on the underbody is in a real dream state so really stainless and I say that as someone who has already seen at least 30 vehicles of this type from below!

The V70 received a fresh oil change and a new VARTA star battery in June 2026. Then I personally drove it over a distance of 650 km in petrol operation. Engine and transmission work absolutely flawlessly and do not lose any oil! The car is driving exactly as it should be.

For the upcoming HU test, the brakes should be freshened around. I have already bought corresponding parts from ATE (with Ceramik brake pads) and these are included in the vehicle.

The car is definitely too beautiful to end up in the junk press! I hope that in this way someone will find himself who enjoys keeping this V70 alive or at least exploiting it with dignity.

The V70 is currently at my trust workshop in PLZ 47057 Duisburg on the court and should ideally be picked up there with a trailer. The vehicle is expressly sold as a hobbyist vehicle under exclusion of any liability for possible material defects by Privat.
