1992 Audi 80 B4 2,3L 5 Zylinder

For sale is my Audi 80 with the popular 2.3 liter 5-cylinder engine. I drove the vehicle every day until two years ago. Until my move he always went very quiet, reliable and extremely pleasant. Since then, he had been stored dry because I no longer needed him. However, as a result of the service life, a few defects have emerged which have to be eliminated before a new start-up.

Condition and Known Defects:

Fuel line: On the petrol line, fuel draws out (no extreme exit, but present). Cooler: The cooler is leaky and must be replaced. Body & rust: Basically, the body is still good for age. The right wing has already been replaced and is stainless. The left wing has clear rust (see photo – this is the worst place). The sills are still very good and stable on the whole, but at the back of both sides they are slightly rusting. There are some smaller, age-related rust points, but nothing dramatic. Interior: The interior is in good condition. In a few places the fabric dissolves easily, but the overall picture is still very neat.

Engine: In principle, it's really quiet and beautiful, not knocking, knocking or similar. However, the engine does not rotate over 4000 revolutions under load, in the stand it does. This is most likely related to the KE-Jetronic, which doses the fuel. There are workshops that specialize in it and can certainly fix the problem relatively easily. But you can also drive like this, then you just don't have the full performance.

Special features:

Technique always ran impeccable (e.g. window lifter, seat heating, sliding roof etc.) A registered sport exhaust by Fox is built, which gives the 5-cylinder a really nice, rich sound. 8 times, but relatively old. 4x steel rims 4x original Audi Alufelgen

I actually had to fix the deficiencies and bring the Audi back to the forefront because I think he has a really very good basis and the deficiencies are manageable. Unfortunately, I don't get to it now, and before he's just standing around, I'd rather give it to him.
