The Audi TT Roadster (series 8J) from 2007 with the 147 kW (200 hp) strong 2.0 TFSI motor is considered the absolute "golden center" on the used car market. It combines real sports car characters with solid everyday fitness. The 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder delivers a maximum torque of 280 Nm, which is already very early (from 1,800 rpm). This ensures a powerful start without a long turbohole. Sporty driving performance: With an acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds (6.5 seconds with S-tronic double clutch transmission) and a maximum speed of 237 km/h you are extremely flotting on the road. High reliability: According to expert and workshop portals, the 147-kW engine is considered the most reliable unit of this TT generation, since it is significantly less susceptible to extreme problems than the more dynamic or extremely high-growth variants. Weight advantage: Compared to the heavy 3.2-liter V6 model, the four-cylinder is about 170 kg lighter. This makes the car extremely agile, splashy and maneuverable in curves. At the 8J generation, Audi put on an innovative material mix (aluminum front, steel rear). The convertible is thus extremely twist-resistant - flapping on uneven roads or trembling as well as nothing compared to older convertibles. Timeless optics: The design of the second generation works modern and sporty with the athletic silhouette, the exhibited wheel houses and the distinctive singleframe grill. An optical highlight is the rear spoiler, which runs automatically from 120 km/h. Premium cockpit: The interior shines with high-quality materials (e.g. aluminum applications, optional fine leather), the iconic round ventilation nozzles and a sport steering wheel flattened down below. There is no cheap plastic feeling. Genuine Roadster Feeling: The classic fabric top opens and closes fully electric in a few seconds and can be added at the touch of a button to a practical, electrically extendable glass chalk. Solid trunk: For a two-seat convertible, the TT offers a surprisingly deep trunk with a volume of 250 litres - sufficient for the weekly purchase or the holiday baggage too two. The best thing: The open top does not restrict the trunk.
