The design icon from the feather of cult designer Peter Schreyer is a roadster classic that rises in value again. The TT is in excellent condition for age. Only three light, non-pickerl-relevant defects were detected during the last pickerl check: Light cloudiness of the headlights (known problem of the series; you still see well with them), porous rubber elements and, engine-typically, low oil loss. In fact, the oil loss is less than indicated in the operating instructions. Perhaps the last two points are actually only one. Furthermore, the electric wind bulkhead cannot be driven out (one hears the engine running; it is a removable wind bulkhead mounted instead) and the top can be electrically opened, but recently only close manually (also here you hear the engine), as in the serial equipment.

The TT 8N is based on the PQ34 plate form of the VW Group and has a motor from the VW EA113 series, which is considered very reliable and has been installed over the entire group by 2015 in very high numbers. Any necessary spare parts are therefore very easy to obtain.
