* Engine: Fits very well, quiet and reliable (typical BMW series six-cylinder). * Service history: Very well documented, the maintenance was almost complete in approx. 30,000 km rhythm is performed and are subject to service specifications. * Remarkable equipment: Full leather seats in good condition, climate control, seat heating, electric sunroof, electric rear blind, electric window lifter front & rear, multifunction steering wheel, original navigation system Professional and much more. * Potential: An excellent and interesting basis to build up a properly chic E39 classic.

Known defects / need for action:

* TÜV: expired in April 2026 (the last HU report is available). * Brakes: need to be renewed front and rear for new TÜV. * Body: The E39-typical grate attachments are visible at the known locations. There are also scratches, dents and optical signs of use corresponding to the age of over 20 years. * Pre Damage: Fixed wild damage at the front right. Nothing engraving, but on the passenger side a larger gap size can be seen (see detail pictures 12 & 13). * Electronics: The known pixel error in the tacho/combiinstrument is present.

Conclusion: All in all, an honest vehicle with a great line of equipment. I'm sorry, I have to separate from the car for budget reasons. I hope that this 5's gets into the hands of a lover or screwdriver who knows exactly what to do and brings him back to the street.
