2005 BMW 530i E60 N52 258 PS | 120tkm | 2. Hand

For sale is my BMW 530i E60 with the well-known 3.0-liter N52 series six-cylinder and 258 hp.

The vehicle was approved for the first time in October 2005 and currently has run around 120,000 km. Particularly noteworthy are the low running performance for an E60 of this age and only 2 vehicle holders. The engine runs absolutely top and there is no oil moisture in the engine room.

The focus of this vehicle is clearly on technology and low running performance. Optically, there are age-related and usage-related topics, which is why the BMW is particularly interesting from my point of view for an E60 lover, who places value on a good technical basis and wants to visually evaluate the car according to their own ideas.

Technology / Maintenance

According to my knowledge, the BMW is technically in a very good and reliable state. The N52 runs clean and the vehicle drives perfectly.

During my time of ownership, I placed great emphasis on regular maintenance. Engine oil was changed around every 12,000 km. The spark plugs were renewed at about 66,000 km. The brakes were also made at 90,000 km.

The low running performance can also be traced over existing older kilometres or vehicle history.

Equipment

The vehicle has, among other things, automatic transmission, electric glass/slide roof, tempomat, servotronic, light package, loading system, precious wood interior, radio professional and alarm system.

In addition, an Android/CarPlay system was retrofitted. CarPlay works; audio transmission is currently done via a Bluetooth transmitter.

In addition to the vehicle there is a complete set with 4 original BMW M rims in 18 inches.

Optical condition

After around 20 years, the BMW is not a collector's vehicle and not a perfect garage car. The paint has scratches, smaller dents and traces of use at several points. Optical damage is also present on the bumper and individual further body areas.

After contact with another vehicle, the right front fender has damage or damage. Unevennesses and was initially provisionally directed.

In the beige interior there are also damages/cracks on two lining parts.

The corresponding places are shown on the photos and can of course be viewed accurately during a visit.

Anyone looking for an optically perfect E60 will probably not be happy here. If you are looking for a 530i with N52, only about 120,000 km and a good technical basis, and want to perform smaller cosmetic works yourself or build the vehicle individually anyway, you get an interesting starting base here.

For example, the car is also suitable for someone who wants to optically upgrade an E60 according to their own ideas. I deliberately decided to invest money in cosmetic work before sale.

Prevailing / vehicle history

The vehicle is expressly not offered as accident-free.

When I bought the BMW, he was sold to me as infall-free. However, repairs from the time before my possession were known. In the existing vehicle history, bodywork and painting work in the front area are documented. I cannot judge the exact past or extent at that time.

During my time of ownership, there was a tripping contact with another vehicle when it was overtaken. The right front wing was damaged. The fender was provisionally directed; the optical state can be seen in the images.

In summary: E60 530i with the N52 six-cylinder, very low running performance, 2nd hand and good technical base. No optically perfect vehicle, for this from my point of view an interesting basis for someone who is more important to the engine, running performance and substance than an already perfect outer state.
