BMW M6 Cabrio V10 rare stainless project base incl. Engine

From family and professional changes, I give my M6 project of serious heart to good hands, as I will not find time for it for the next 2-3 years.

Anyone who has been playing with the idea of building up a BMW M6 convertible with the legendary V10 itself clean and sustainably gets a base here that is only found very rarely in this state.

The history behind the vehicle

I deliberately bought the M6 with motor damage because I was convinced of the exceptionally good underbody condition of the vehicle and I wanted to make a little more of it.

The underfloor is remarkable for a vehicle of this age. No grate, no typical project base, rather a vehicle in which the underfloor is almost as if it were from the plant.

That's why my plan was not from the beginning to simply install some used motor and quickly bring the vehicle back to the road.

I wanted to build the M6 right.

Then I bought a used engine from a renowned company. The invoice is available.

This engine has already been disassembled to the crankshaft since my plan was to rebuild it completely and sustainably. Therefore already the many new parts. The great advantage for the buyer: You don't buy an unknown blackbox here, but you can carry out the construction from this point on your own clean and comprehensible and you can also see it.

Of course, all parts are completely available from the vehicle and the engine!

Crank drive and raceways show themselves after dismantling in correspondingly good condition. The details can, of course, be viewed using the existing images.

In addition, I have already acquired extensively in new parts. These can optionally be taken over to the vehicle and motor.

The new parts range is close to 4,500 and includes:

Various components of the motor have already been renewed or are in a very good/new condition, including a light machine and coupling.

Why this project is interesting

An M6 project can be found quickly.

A stainless, comprehensible and infall-free base, in which a motor is already present, the motor has been opened and in addition a large part of the required new parts has already been bought, is found to be much more rare.

There is already a lot of money, time and preparatory work in the project.

Anyone who likes to screw up or build an M6 V10 according to his own ideas has the opportunity to create a very special vehicle from an exceptionally good base.

The most important part is available:

a very good body, an existing engine and a large part of the required new parts.

It is important to me that the M6 comes in hand, who appreciate this project and continue it accordingly.
