2001 BMW X5 E53 3.0i HU 3/27 Leder+SH, eSD, WR, PDC...

We will return our winter and transition SUV with the popular M54B30 engine after 1.5 years, as soon a new E-SUV will be delivered. The E53 had 4 previous owners, but the last 3 (incl. us) only kept the BMW short. The first registration ran on BMW and the second holder had him about 15 years. We have the X5 as a youngtimer for 285 EUR incl. Full cash insurance (KFZ tax = 202 EUR) and have been only approx. 4000 km easy and very comfortable. The conversions and various repairs (replacement parts purchases and repairs) were completed by the previous owner. We have a new starter battery (Bosch 95Ah) and a fresh oil change (Castrol Magnatec 5W-40) with oil filter and interior filter. The used but scratchless original BMW 19-inch rims with mixed tires 285/45 or 255/50 we have also installed 2025, the 17-inch original rims are included as winter tires with good profile (in stock externally at the moment). There are small electric cams such as pixel faults in summer or the lonely ZV of the passenger door - but no luminous warning lamps in the gear, motor, airbag or 4x4 all-wheel system. The BT radio with telephone hands-free option has also installed the previous owner, music, telephone and navigation work with the phone via the speakers from the car.

The previous owner has tried to treat rust points on the door edge and on the tailgate - now they come through again.

I had the value of the X5 officially created by the reviewer after my purchase in the context of the Youngtimer insurance - the evaluation was in April 2025 at 7,300 EUR, of course, the review with photos is given to the buyer.

Thanks to its all-wheel drive in autumn and winter with its winter tires, the X5 is very safe on the go, the heating (incl. seat heating in front) and also the air conditioning function perfectly. From B column, the windows are dark. There are some signs of use, but it is very reliable. We liked to drive the SUV in the short time, the consumption is at 2 tons weight on the road or road. Highway up to 130 km/h with about 11 litres still within the scope. We didn't drive town or short distances, the X5 was the "Viertauto" for building and plant center visits during the renovation period of our house.

I tried to describe the BMW as honest as possible, unlike the previous owner. However, a personal visit by the interested party should always take place to make themselves an image of the vehicle.
