After 11 years of service, it was clear that the elimination of all the damages, such as e.g. the overhaul of the entire fuel system, the change of all liquids, the installation of new Micheline tires and the change of various rubbers, hoses and heating seals 2000–3000 euros. We gave up a bid and became clear: it wasn't about the money to the seller, but much more about the question whether he wanted to sell the car at all. The wife was added and after brief consultation we were told that at the moment you could not make a decision, you would have to think about it again for a few days. We could not do anything other than to assure the family to put the car back into the best condition, provided they sell the 2CV to us and embark on the journey.
