In the mid-1980s, Citroën tried to place better, especially in the segment of the younger clientele. A special and inexpensive version of the 2CV was created for this purpose. The special model, which always has a somewhat simpler version with only one sun visor as standard and a continuous bench front, small tacho, now received artificial leather seats in jeans look to look a little modern and fresh.
