All maintenance work should be easy to carry out, and the engine should start at -10 degrees C as well as at 25 degrees C. Quality must be perfect, but the price must be very low. ." This is how it should have been in 1934. When the Citroen 2CV came on the market - due to war - only in 1948, it had experienced technical and optical upgrades, but had remained an extremely simple and inexpensive used vehicle.

An ugly duck, the "Döschwo", which, however, quickly turned into a proud swan in terms of sales figures. At the latest since the 1969s, the duck became a cult among students and price-conscious adherents of freedom and adventure. The duck is trendy. The sales figures in Germany are multiplied.

From 1981, the 2CV6 Club is equipped with disc brakes.

Until the end of 1990, numerous special models appeared.

The legendary Deux Chevaux, lovingly known as Ente in the German-speaking world, is one of the most famous French classic cars ever. The large retractable folding roof. the characteristic crutch circuit, the mechanical operating elements and the robust air-cooled two-sylinder boxer motor ensure an original driving experience with a distinctive character. The freestanding round front headlights, whose height can be adjusted from the interior, are typical for the Citroen 2CV6. The fresh air passes through the adjustable flap directly below the front panel into the interior. The large retractable folding roof gives a wonderfully open feeling of driving in beautiful weather.

The 2CV6 special model Sauss-Ente is one of 100 produced Sauss-Enten in red. A total of 2,000 2CV6 were produced by the special Sauss-Ente model, of which 1,900 were produced in green and 100 in red. The 2CV6 was built in Levallois ( Paris). It is one of the last ducks built in Paris.
