Frankia Alkoven is looking for new owners!

We sell our Frankia seriously. Our children have grown up and as a family we simply need more space. That's why we are looking for people who want to take over this special camper and go with him on many new trips.

On all our travels, Frankia didn't leave us alone. It is reliable, robust and comes from a time when motorhomes were built with real quality and great attention to detail. As an old-timer, he has a very special charm. Anyone who drives a classic camper knows this feeling: you greet yourself on the road, get to talk quickly on campsites and belongs to a special community.

The body is in an exceptionally good condition. It is stainless and has no corrosion. The current owner is motor vehicle mechanics. The vehicle has always been maintained and maintained professionally so that the Frankia is technically and optically in a very good condition today. Of course, he is not a new car and has conventional signs of use. This gives you an honest camper with character.

Thanks to H approval (Oldtimer): very cheap taxes (approx. 191 Euro/year) and free ride in all environmental zones!

Vehicle data and condition: Fiat Ducato type 280 with Frankia Alkoven, first registration 1988, 2.5L Diesel with approx. 217.000 km. TÜV and gas testing (gas TÜV) were renewed last year. Underbody and frame are in very good condition, the longitudinal beams are completely stainless. The sheet metal damage on the right wing was repaired professionally, the engine hood was renewed and repainted. The decorative Oracal film stickers around were completely renewed.

Construction and bodywork: The wooden support frame in the front alcove area was completely renewed (new wood). The structure is again absolutely stable and free from wind noises during acceleration. The roof was completely recondensed. This year, two roof lobes and the left side window were reglued and sealed.

Maintenance and mechanics: Liquids (cooling liquid, gear oil, engine oil, brake fluid) have been changed regularly over the last 4 years. Last year renewed: brake hoses, brake fluid, shaft sealing rings on the gearbox. The oil pan was re-sealed. The motor has only an age-standard easy sweating (without critical leaks). Last oil change in late summer, since only about 3,000 km. Gear and clutch switch perfectly. Renewed from the previous owner: cylinder head seal and toothed belt. In addition, the headlights have recently been replaced, the cuff of the rectangled joint has been renewed, and the gear oil has been changed and two gear seals have been replaced. Use and equipment: We traveled only during the summer months and were mostly on campsites (Truma heating and boiler not used by us). The toilet is fully functional and clean (only served as a clean storage room for sports equipment and luggage). Equipment: bicycle carrier at the rear, awning, refrigerator (12V/230V/gas), gas hob, sink, fresh and waste water tank.

Important notes: Due to the age (38 years), the motorhome is explicitly sold as a craft vehicle/restoration object to completely exclude subsequent claims. The vehicle is registered, is used occasionally and is ready for a visit and test drive. We wish that Frankia will give his new owners as many beautiful memories as our family!
