The configuration was selected consciously in this vehicle. The H2 high roof provides significantly more freedom of movement in the interior and creates additional storage space in the lateral roof cabinets. At the same time, the compact L1 variant was deliberately selected. It remains handy, pleasant to drive and reduces additional body movements and possible twisting noises compared to an unnecessarily long construction. The transit continues to be pleasantly compact and quiet on longer routes.

A special feature is the TRAIL design with the mechanical locking differential developed jointly by Ford and Quaife. As soon as one of the front wheels loses traction, the drive force is automatically passed on to the wheel with the better grip. Especially on wet meadows, gravel, snow, unhardened accesses or pitches, this offers a considerable advantage over a normal front-driver.

The great advantage lies in the overall package. In practical tests, the system is so effective that in many typical bad ways situations it can practically replace a heavy all-wheel drive. Compared with different all-wheel solutions of other vehicles, the concept can better cut off especially in the case of weight, consumption and everyday suitability without having to dispense with the additional traction important for a camper. At the same time, transit remains economical. Depending on the route, mode of travel and loading, consumption of about 6.9 to 8.9 liters of diesel at 100 km is possible.

The vehicle came from 1st hand and was mainly moved on long distances. Care has always been taken for careful warming and also gentle cold driving. The overall condition is very well maintained accordingly.

The MOVOVAN extension has been designed consistently for trips to two, a lot of storage space and as practical as possible use. The large lounge bed can be pulled out within few handles, the kitchen can be completely removed and used outside and bicycles can be transported protected in the interior thanks to the integrated airline rails.
