New available from stock, the new 911 GTS 4 T-hybrid.

For the first time, the performance hybridization, in short T-hybrid, is used in the 911 GTS models. Inspired by motorsport and redesigned for the road, the 911 series with the GTS introduces a new, more powerful way into the future. A new performance level is achieved by the 911 GTS models through the six-cylinder boxer engine with electric exhaust gas turbocharge (eTurbo), 3.6 liters of engine capacity and the integration of an electric motor into the PDK transmission.

The T-Hybrid drive offers a linear power development with high torque over the entire speed range and thus permanently ensures impressive driving performance (541 hp). At the same time, the recuperation via the electric motor in the transmission and the electric exhaust gas turbocharger enables the recovery of energy and the charging of the 400 V lithium ion battery.

Performance hybridization significantly improves acceleration. The previous model returned 14.5 meters in 2.5 seconds. The new GTS with T-hybrid creates 21.5 meters in the same time and thus has a projection of 7 meters.

The chassis of Porsche 911 has been considered a scale for sports cars for generations. With the new 911 Porsche unfolds its full potential in driving dynamics and driving fun. Despite or precisely because of the innovative technologies, the new 911 remains a real 911: a sports car that feels comfortable in everyday life and on the race track. Compared to their predecessors, the new 911 GTS models not only have a more extensive series of equipment, but also have advanced options that increase both driving performance and everyday fitness.

The 911 Carrera GTS models are standard equipped with the PASM sports suspension (-10 mm). Optionally, PASM is also available on the rear axle without depth and without additional springs. With tighter springs, modified dampers and stabilizers as well as a new damper control, the PASM sports suspension further increases the driving dynamics. Despite tighter suspension components, the PASM damping technology maintains high everyday comfort.

The rear axle springs are equipped with an additional spring as standard. This additional spring holds the main spring under tension when springing in and, in combination with the particularly performance-oriented design of the sports suspension, ensures that the full spring travel is available. This offers the advantage that the series springs retain their original voltage even at maximum load, which increases vehicle control. This results in a longer road contact time in the case of a highly dynamic driving mode during spring-out, whereby both longitudinal and transverse forces can be better transmitted.

The new GTS models are equipped with rear axle steering for the first time. This system increases both performance and everyday fitness. Depending on the speed of travel, the rear wheels steer up to two degrees opposite or in the same direction to the front axle. This makes the 911 even more agile in curves and makes it easier to place in urban traffic thanks to a smaller turning circle. At higher speeds, the system increases the driving stability, for example during lane change.
