1973 Volvo VOLVO P1800 ES mit Klimaanlage und Overdrive

RARITY: VOLVO P 1800 ES, so-called. "Schneewittchensarg", the first car with a single glass rear flap, first shooting Brake, in exceptionally good condition for sale for age reasons. The car came from the USA to Denmark and later to Germany. Over the past few years, more than € 12,000 have been invested in the technology, including the air conditioning and overdrive have been repaired. All invoices of oldtimer workshops are available. The cavities were preserved with Mike Sanders, the engine overhauled. After the engine revision, only 65,000 km drove. Last inspection in February 2026. Spare parts are favorable, e.g. for the companies SKANDIX and BUTTKEREIT. Most parts were also installed in other VOLVO models, such as Amazon and P140. The very reliable and robust technology is simple and easy to maintain, unlike in Italian and some English sports cars, which can only be maintained and repaired by specialists. The engine is a very durable four-cylinder with 2 l capacity, which was also installed in other VOLVO models. The only thing that doesn't work is the timepiece. The VOLVO P 1800 ES is the successor of the Sportcoupé P 1800 and was built mainly for the American market in Sweden, with the P1800 ES being produced only in a small number of well 8000 units. The extended roof in combination should allow the exclusive customer to take a golf bag. After its basic restoration, the car was moved only in dry weather and, of course, always stood in a ventilated garage.

In this stainless and well maintained state and with this equipment my P 1800 ES is unique!
