For sale is my Mercedes-Benz 300 TE (S124) from 1989 with the classic 3.0-liter six-cylinder and 180 hp from second hand.

I purchased the vehicle in February 2023 at Pyritz-Classics in Frankfurt am Main and have been driving, cared for and maintained regularly since then. Because of a vehicle change, I would like to separate myself from my Mercedes.

The car is in a well maintained state corresponding to its age. The extensive, documented bodywork as well as the existing maintenance and repair history are particularly important.

Body and maintenance

Extensive bodywork was carried out in 2023. These included rust removal, welding work, painting work and a comprehensive cavity and underbody preservation.

The work is documented by invoices totalling over 10,000. No rust points are known to me.

In addition, maintenance and repair work was carried out regularly. In August 2026, spark plugs, ignition cables and other components of the ignition system were recently renewed. Corresponding invoices and evidence are available.

Vehicle

For the Mercedes there is a Classic Analytics evaluation from February 2022. The latter certifies the condition note 2 to the vehicle and has a repurchasing value of 17,600 at that time.

The assessment as well as the extensive billboard can be viewed during a visit.

Known defects and traces of use

Due to the age of the vehicle, there are some points I would like to mention transparently:

* The tachometer shows a constant about approx. 20 km/h higher speed than the actual driving speed. * At a cold start, the engine requires about 60 seconds of warm life. He can occasionally start immediately. The problem was examined in August 2026 in a workshop and significantly improved by the renewal of various components of the ignition system, but remains to a lesser extent at cold temperatures. * On the hood there is a stone impact with a small damage to the surface of the lacquer.

Apart from these points, the Mercedes is comfortable. I am not aware of any further significant shortcomings.

Sale

The car is sold due to a vehicle change. A visit is possible after prior consultation in Münster.
