I offer here a used Opel Astra looking for age. He's got some scratches here and there, three years ago, but TÜV still got a problem. I have invested a lot in recent years headlights, Lambdasonde and and, most bills are also present. He is no longer the newest, but jumps directly and runs quietly (that was a long expensive way until then), but the toothed belt would have to be made and an oil change would also be due. You brakes are once again I would say that the rear wiper motor is defective and the climate does not go (which was defective from the beginning), I drove the car almost six years, but then decided to put more money into repairs. For people who can do something themselves, it may be lucrative, because you would have to buy parts only and control the installation itself. I cannot answer technical questions as a layman, unless you can read them in appearance.

The car has a removable trailer coupling. I can't judge if it's still good, I've only been driving with it once since it's in the trunk.
