2002 Peugeot 206 SW 2.0 S16 Sport 135 GTI

Description 'Morgens zur Kita and in the evening on the race track'...so or so similar, must have been the thoughts of Peugeot engineers when they planted the exciting 2.0 16V motor from the sporty 206 S16 also in the 206 SW. A reliable small car that is perfectly equipped for all situations of life... But now for the 206 SW S16 offered here from 2002 in the beautiful Sidobre Grau painting.

The small Frenchman has an equipment which is probably so no second time to be found, in the interior Alcantara and leather flatters the eye and offer the best seating comfort, with 4 electric window lifters, air conditioning, light and rain sensor, four airbags, power steering, ABS, central lock and as a special highlight a factory navigation system. The separately open rear window offers additional possibilities for loading and transporting larger objects.

Technically, the 206 SW was completely overhauled, from exhaust system to spark plugs everything was renewed, which is subject to certain wear, so there are new disc brakes, a revised rear axle, new crossbars, track rod heads, exhaust system, a large inspection, new suspension springs, the water cooler, air-conditioning compressor and air-conditioning cooler were also replaced by new parts and much more. The four speakers were also renewed for a clean sound experience. The engine and transmission have been replaced and have a running power of only 148tkm, and in addition, 5tkm of the toothed belt with water pump and the clutch was renewed.

Everything in the car works as on the first day, each button and each switch reliably fulfills its intended task. Technically, the small SW is in a top condition, which documents a pending HU report. The 17" BBS aluminum alloys with new-grade summer tyres and a 30mm H&R depth reduction are properly removed by the DEKRA. But after 20 years in everyday use there are also some optical signs of use (see last photo). The soil group is in a super state, however, since the 206 was allowed to live the largest part of its previous life in the Ruhr region without much winter and stray salt use. A set of winter wheels on original 206 S16 aluminium rims are included in the price.

In this combination as SW with the S16 engine and this top equipment, only a few hundred vehicles were produced and currently no second vehicle is offered. I would be happy if this vehicle comes in good hands and so perhaps in a few years already gets the oldtimer status.
