For sale is an authentic Porsche 912 Coupé with short wheelbase (Short Wheelbase / SWB) from the period July/August 1965. It is one of the very first models from the first year of production (Karmann body). A real barn find (Barn Find), imported from the USA. A restoration project that must be started from scratch. The bodywork has massive, continuous structural corrosion damage (missing floor panels); Sills, spare wheel trough and windshield frames must be completely rebuilt The original gap dimensions have been preserved. Features and highlights: chassis number (original impact in the body): 4539. Original engine (Matching Numbers): No. *7410* (original 1.6-liter boxer engine, contemporary configuration with original US export heater and original air filters). The engine is complete, including all add-on parts, but is currently stuck due to the long service life. Parts included: sale including the original dismantled parts visible in the photographs (seat frames with black artificial leather cover, rear bumper with chrome-plated bumpers, original headlamp units and turn signals, door handles, aluminium strips, flexible wiper water containers, etc.)
